Hike to the end of the line, Makaleha Mountian, Kapa'a. Brutal, 3 mile round trip to our own private waterfall. Intensely slippery trail(stream), through bamboo groves, with spetacular views of the impending mountian wall. The friends were lost, luckily only for a few minutes, for the first time in their hiking careers. We thought Seal-Seal had swam home to the ocean via the stream, but a few minutes of backtracking discovered all in good health, only soiled in a little Kauai red dirt.
